Are you passionate about welcoming people into our community? Do you enjoy creating an inviting environment that fosters belonging and conviviality? The Hospitality Team welcomes members and guests on Sunday mornings with coffee, tea, and ‘hellos’! The team also serves in all areas of hosting church events. We believe first (and ongoing) impressions matter as we cultivate relationships and community. 

The Audio/Visual and livestream team manages house sound, livestream sound, ProPresenter slides, camera operation, and lighting. Our vision is to craft distraction-free worship spaces. We want everything that we do to point people back to Jesus and His presence. We train all levels of experience and knowledge (even if none!).

Ministering to youth is a critical part of our mission to reach the next generation for Christ. Youth volunteers serve alongside kids from sixth through twelfth grade helping them to dig into the word of God, wrestle with transformative questions, and experience community through intentional Bible teaching, worship, service, and prayer. As a volunteer, all commitment levels are welcome. Volunteers will be provided any training necessary and supported by a well developed curriculum and structure.

The Amplify music team is made up of musicians who use their gifts to serve the body, for God’s glory. We encourage excellence and a strong commitment to the team, while also upholding spiritual accountability and integrity. Ministering to kids is a critical part of our mission to reach the next generation for Christ. Kids volunteers care for infants, and/or teach toddlers, preschoolers and elementary students in age-appropriate Bible teaching and worshipping through song. As a volunteer, all commitment levels are welcome. Training is provided and you will be well supported in the preparation and planning process.

Do you have a knack for writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, or communications? Find a volunteer fit with the Second Mile communications team. Our team manages a range of responsibilities, from email marketing to social media, newsletters, website updates, and copywriting. We have flexible opportunities to fit most schedules.
